SINGAPORE — The results of last year’s GCE O-Level examinations will be released on Monday. Students may collect their results from their schools at 2pm.

Private candidates will be informed of their results by post. Alternatively, they can access them online via the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website at http://www.seab.gov.sg.

Students can apply for junior colleges, the Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education in the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE), using their O-Level results.

Online registration for the JAE will open on Monday at 3pm and end on Jan 16 at 4pm.

Results of school postings are scheduled to be released on Jan 29. Students may access them through the JAE website or via SMS by providing their local mobile phone numbers when they register online.

Students can also opt for the Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE), which complements the JAE by allowing polytechnics to consider applicants based on a broader measure of merit beyond academic performance, such as outstanding talents or achievements in leadership, community service, and artistic and creative areas.

Those who have demonstrated a strong passion or aptitude for the course they have applied for will also be considered.

JPSAE applicants will get their posting results on Jan 30.
