One dead in fire at Redhill Lane
SINGAPORE — A fire broke out at a fourth-floor unit in block 78, Redhill Lane earlier this morning (Nov 19), with one casualty reported, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

SINGAPORE — A fire broke out at a fourth-floor unit in block 78, Redhill Lane earlier this morning (Nov 19), with one casualty reported, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
A body was found at the scene and was pronounced dead by an SCDF Paramedic.
The SCDF said it was alerted to the case at 8.06am. Two fire engines, a red rhino, two firebikes, an ambulance, and two support vehicles were dispatched to the scene
The main door of the residential unit had to be forced open by SCDF firefighters, and the SCDF extinguishd the fire in the bedroom within five minutes.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, the SCDF said.
