SINGAPORE — From community and lifestyle benefits and discounts to ATM and debit card functionalities, the community will soon get to enjoy all these with a new all-in-one card, the PAssion POSB Debit Card.

The People’s Association (PA) and POSB announced the new initiative at the POSB PAssion Run for Kids at the Promontory at Marina Bay this morning (Sept 8).

PA’s chief executive director Ang Hak Seng said: “It (the card) not only provides convenience to the community in booking community facilities in our community centres and booking of community courses for all ages, but it also helps in the ease of payment.

“PAssion card holders will also be able to enjoy lifestyle benefits that cover more than 1,500 merchant outlets that provide them discounts and privileges.”

The card is set to be launched in the first quarter of next year. It is expected to reach out to some four million POSB customers and 1.4 million PAssion Card members in Singapore.

Some 8,500 people took part in this year’s POSB PAssion Run for Kids.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and PA’s Deputy Chairman Lim Swee Say was also present.
