PM Lee visits Changi Airport on Chinese New Year

SINGAPORE — Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today (Feb 8) visited staff working on Chinese New Year at the Changi Airport.

SINGAPORE — Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today (Feb 8) visited staff working on Chinese New Year at the Changi Airport.

Making the visit with key union leaders, Mr Lee gave out red packets and oranges to staff and taxi drivers working on the most important family holiday in the Chinese calendar. He also greeted and posed for photos with some travellers. 

After the visit, Mr Lee took part in a lo-hei session and was presented with a surprise birthday cake. Mr Lee will turn 64 years old in two days on Feb 10.
