Pre-registration for iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus starts for local telcos

SINGAPORE — Looking to get your hands on the new Apple iPhone 7 devices?

Anxious customers can now start registering their interest from noon on Thursday (Sept 8) with Singtel or from 4.30pm with StarHub, even though pre-orders will only officially begin on Friday (Sept 9).

The devices will be made available on the following week’s Friday.


Unveiled at the Apple event on Wednesday (Sept 8, SGT), the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will come in silver, gold, rose gold and the new black finish, in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models and the starting price is S$1,048 for the base model.

Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Series 2, including the Nike+ Edition, can be pre-ordered via Apple’s website starting from Friday. While the Apple Watch Series 2 will be made available on the following week’s Friday, the Nike+ Edition will only be available in late October.
