SBS Transit to launch four more wheelchair-accessible bus services

SINGAPORE — Four more wheelchair-accessible bus services will be rolled out on Monday (June 22), SBS Transit announced in a media release today.

SINGAPORE — Four more wheelchair-accessible bus services will be rolled out on Monday (June 22), SBS Transit announced in a media release today.

The bus services are 31, 89, 122 and 200, bringing the total number of wheelchair-friendly bus services offered by the transport operator to 192.

“This means that close to 90% of our basic bus services will be wheelchair friendly which will make it more convenient for passengers-in-wheelchairs to get around on public transport,” said SBS Transit.

The routes of the four services are:

Service 31: Tampines Central, Simei Avenue, New Upper Changi Road, Bedok South Avenue 1, Marine Parade Road, Tanjong Katong Road, Mountbatten Road, Geylang Road, Boon Keng Road, Serangoon Road, Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.

Service 89: Hougang Central, Punggol Road, Sengkang East Avenue, Pasir Ris, Loyang Avenue, Airline Road.

Service 122: Eu Tong Sen Street, Tiong Bahru Road, Alexandra Road, Tanglin Road, Queensway, Commonwealth Avenue.

Service 200: North Buona Vista Road, Holland Drive, Commonweath Avenue, South Buona Vista Road, Pasir Panjang Road, Clementi Road.
