Singapore leaders in Johor for Hari Raya celebrations

JOHOR BAHRU — Singapore leaders visited Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar at Istana Bukit Serene in Johor Bahru today (July 17).

JOHOR BAHRU — Singapore leaders visited Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar at Istana Bukit Serene in Johor Bahru today (July 17).

The visit by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Chan Chun Sing and Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin is an annual Hari Raya Aidilfitri tradition and underscores the warm ties between Singapore and the Malaysian state of Johor.

Mr Chan and Mr Tan were accompanied by their wives. During the visit, the ministers exchanged gifts with the Sultan, and shared a lunch with the Sultan’s family. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
