SINGAPORE — Local telco SingTel’s mobile and fixed broadband lines were disrupted for several hours some customers today (Dec 13), drawing their ire.

It said on its Facebook page at 1.09pm: “We are aware that some customers may be experiencing intermittent difficulties accessing the Internet via mobile and fixed broadband lines. Services are now being restored progressively. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience.”

At close to 3pm, the telco updated that Internet access for mobile and fixed broadband services “have been fully normalised”.

Customers had taken to social media to flag the service disruptions from about 11. Twitter user Alvin Teh, for one, said he experienced disruption to his broadband service.

Others like @pehxinyi also highlighted that the telco’s customer hotline could not be accessed to find out what was wrong with their Internet services. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
