There were no injuries.

The incident, which occurred at about 8.30am, saw the closure of two lanes while the truck was recovered.

A spokesman from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said that traffic has been diverted, and traffic wardens deployed to direct traffic flow.

The LTA is carrying out reinstatement works. The LTA said it is investigating the incident and “will also continue to monitor underground construction works in the surrounding area”.

The incident is not expected to impact the construction progress of Downtown Line 3, the LTA said.
