SINGAPORE – To make museum-hopping more convenient, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is piloting a free museum shuttle service, which will run from tomorrow (May 30) to Jan 31 next year

Its introduction will coincide with the opening day of Pinacothèque de Paris at the Fort Canning Art Centre, an offshoot of a prestigious private art museum in Paris.

The shuttle service will run daily from 10.30am to 4.30pm, making stops every half hourly at the Singapore Art Museum, the National Museum of Singapore, as well as the Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris.

The STB said in a release today that besides the addition of two new museums – the Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris and the National Gallery Singapore – this year, the refurbishment of the National Museum and Asian Civilisation Museum is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

“The timely launch of the free shuttle bus service will allow visitors to conveniently museum-hop within the Civic District and Bras Basah area,” said the STB.
