Justice Tan was first appointed as Judicial Commissioner in February 1997, and then as a Judge of the Supreme Court on August 1, 1997. He will leave the Public Service after 16 years of distinguished service.
During his judicial tenure, Justice Tan made outstanding contributions to the Supreme Court, the Legal Service and the legal profession. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
