Suspect in Sengkang, Punggol molest cases arrested
SINGAPORE — A 28-year-old man was arrested yesterday (May 4) for his suspected involvement in several cases of outrage of modesty at Sengkang and Punggol estates since January.
SINGAPORE — A 28-year-old man was arrested yesterday (May 4) for his suspected involvement in several cases of outrage of modesty at Sengkang and Punggol estates since January.
The police said today they have received reports of women being molested by an unidentified man at the two estates since the start of the year.
Officers conducted extensive ground enquiries and established the suspect’s identity. He was arrested along Sin Ming Road.
The suspect will be charged in court tomorrow. For the offence of Outrage of Modesty, he may be jailed up to two years, or fined and also be liable to caning, upon conviction.
