Tin Pei Ling gives birth to baby boy

SINGAPORE – Member of Parliament (Marine Parade GRC) Tin Pei Ling has given birth to a baby boy. She wrote in a Facebook post at 10.09am today (Aug 5) that she has “popped”, adding that the baby is “a healthy baby boy”.

SINGAPORE – Member of Parliament (Marine Parade GRC) Tin Pei Ling has given birth to a baby boy. She wrote in a Facebook post at 10.09am today (Aug 5) that she has “popped”, adding that the baby is “a healthy baby boy”.

In the same post, the 31-year-old thanked well-wishers over the past months.

Later on in the day, Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong announced that Ms Tin would be the People's Action Party's candidate to contest in MacPherson SMC in the coming General Election. She had recently said there has been “no indication” that she would not be fielded even though she was heavily pregnant and was two weeks from reaching full term in her pregnancy at the time
