New York holds primaries
New York holds its presidential primaries on Tuesday, with Democrat Hillary Clinton facing Senator Bernie Sanders and Republican Donald Trump squaring off against Senator Ted Cruz and Ohio Governor John Kasich. The candidates have been on a campaign blitz in the state for the past few days to woo the 95 Republican and 291 Democratic delegates, with both Mrs Clinton and Mr Trump projected to triumph here in their home state.

PM Lee meets Israel’s Netanyahu
Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is in Israel on Tuesday as part of his trip to the Middle East where he will meet with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as Israeli high-tech industry leaders.

US-S Korea to discuss strategic coordination on North Korea
United States Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will be in South Korea on Tuesday to discuss US-South Korea strategic coordination on North Korea policy with South Korea Deputy National Security Advisor Cho Tae-yong. Mr Blinken’s visit comes on the heels of reports that there were signs that Pyongyang is preparing for a fifth nuclear bomb test. Last Friday, a North Korean missile launch meant to celebrate the birthday of its founder Kim Il Sung ended in failure, according to US officials.
