DONALD TRUMP TO BECOME THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE

Mr Donald Trump is expected to become the Republican party official nominee for the United States presidency early on Wednesday. The billionaire won a thumping victory in statewide party elections, garnering more than 13 million votes — the most of any Republican nominee ever. However, he experienced a rough start on Tuesday when he found himself engulfed in a plagiarism scandal, after a passage in his wife Melania’s prime time speech at the convention appeared to be similar to the one given by Ms Michelle Obama at the 2008 Democratic convention.
