Two lanes on ECP closed after mud spill

Two lanes on the East Coast Parkway (ECP) towards Changi Airport after the Bedok exit had to be closed yesterday after mud spilled off a truck onto the expressway. The truck driver said he was forced to brake suddenly after a lorry cut into his lane, causing the mud it was transporting to spill onto the highway. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the incident at around 2.50pm and sent a fire engine to wash away the mud. Photo: CHANNEL NEWSASIA
