SINGAPORE — An unidentified car yesterday trespassed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MFA) premises along Sherwood Road, before the woman driver was arrested.
SINGAPORE — An unidentified car yesterday trespassed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MFA) premises along Sherwood Road, before the woman driver was arrested.
Police investigations are in progress. In response to queries from Channel NewsAsia, the MFA confirmed the incident.
It said the car had entered through the front gate without authorisation by tailgating another vehicle. The vehicle was eventually stopped by the ministry’s security officers.
The MFA said the situation was quickly brought under control.
The safety and security of members of the public and MFA staff were not compromised during the incident, it added.
The police said they had received a call at about 2.32pm asking for assistance.
