Fire breaks out at McNair Road flat; 15 evacuated

SINGAPORE — A unit fire broke out today (May 30) at Blk 110, McNair Rd.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted of the incident at 3.30pm and despatched one fire engine, two red rhinos, one ambulance and two other support vehicles to the scene.
Upon arrival, 15 people were evacuated and initial investigations found that the fire involved the combustion of contents in a room on the third floor.
Two water jets were used to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and investigations are still ongoing.
