Vandals hit buildings along Rochor Road

SINGAPORE — The walls of a couple of buildings along Rochor Road were found defaced by vandals on Monday (April 24) morning.

SINGAPORE — The walls of a few buildings along Rochor Road were found defaced by vandals on Monday (April 24) morning.

Among the buildings affected are a branch of UOB bank, as well as the OG departmental store at Albert Complex. A cafe near Bugis Junction was also hit.

At these venues, the cuplrits had scrawled on the wall in Mandarin, challenging an individual to “come out” if he or she dared.

Police said they were alerted to the case of vandalism at 8.49am at 149 Rochor Road on Monday. 
Police investigations are currently ongoing.

Anyone found guilty of vandalism may be fined up to S$2,000, or jailed up to three years and could also face between three and eight strokes of the cane.
