VivoCity welcomes American Eagle Outfitters and Weekends to Singapore with new retail space

SINGAPORE — Shopping mall VivoCity is launching a new 15,000 sq ft space that will house nine retailers, including two brands new to Singapore — American Eagle Outfitters and Weekends.

SINGAPORE — Shopping mall VivoCity is launching a new 15,000 sq ft space that will house nine retailers, including two brands new to Singapore — American Eagle Outfitters and Weekends.

American Eagle Outfitters is a US apparel brand that will open at VivoCity’s Basement 1 in June, while Weekends is a multi-brand lifestyle retailer that opens today.

The other fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands setting up shop in Basement 1 of the mall include Aéropostale, Rabeanco, Steve Madden, Thomas Sabo, Etude House, Innisfree and Lab Series. They will open for business progressively from today.

“This new retail space will take advantage of a constant stream of shopper traffic due to its location at the main thoroughfare that connects HarbourFront MRT Station (at Basement 2) to the main shopping areas in the mall as well as the Sentosa Express Station (at Level 3),” said Ms Joanna Lee, head of Retail Management, Mapletree Commercial Property Management, in a press release. “The addition will create a seamless shopping experience for our customers across all levels of the mall.”

To attract shoppers to their stores at Basement 1, the retailers will be introducing seasonal promotions, as well as exclusive deals and rewards to customers.
