Welcome pack to be mailed to Pioneer Generation members

SINGAPORE — Starting next month, Pioneer Generation Singaporeans will receive a welcome pack in their mailboxes with a Pioneer Generation card that will identify them to healthcare providers for special pioneer subsidies.

This distribution of 450,000 packs should be complete by September, which is when pioneers will be able to use the card to receive special subsidies at General Practitioner and dental clinics under the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS), polyclinics and Specialist Outpatient Clinics.

Apart from the card, the package includes a personalised list of the six nearest CHAS clinics to the pioneer’s home, a CHAS clinic directory, a booklet detailing Pioneer Generation benefits in four languages, and fridge magnets with the Pioneer Generation hotline printed on it.
