Zika and pregnancy: What you should know

Since new first broke on Saturday (Aug 27) that Singapore has had its first locally transmitted Zika virus infection, the outbreak has spread to various parts of the island. 

Among the 36 cases confirmed on Thursday, three new ones were not linked to the existing clusters at Aljunied Crescent-Sims Drive and Bedok North Avenue 3. These three patients live in Tagore Avenue, Yishun Street 81 and Harvey Crescent. To date, two pregnant women have been infected.
