LionsXII fan shuttle service launched

SINGAPORE — The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has announced a complimentary shuttle service for LionsXII fans, a service which it says is “in celebration of unwavering fan support”.

SINGAPORE — The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has announced a complimentary shuttle service for LionsXII fans, a service which it says is “in celebration of unwavering fan support”.

Each shuttle bus, which seats 55 people, will start at The Singapore Flyer, stopping at locations such as at Tampines Stadium, Stamford Court @Hill Street, Somerset MRT station, Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and finally dropping fans off at the Jalan Besar stadium. There will be a total of three trips for each matchday, starting at 325pm at the Singapore Flyer. The last bus will leave the Singapore Flyer at 615pm, and once each bus is full, it will skip any following bus stops after.

The shuttle service will commence service on Aug 31, and is a collaboration between CityTours, Singapore Sports Council, StarHub and the FAS.

Meanwhile, the ticket sales for the match between the LionsXII and Pahang on Aug 31 at the Jalan Besar Stadium will start Aug 26 at noon. Tickets are available at TicketBooth’s website, the 12 TicketBooth outlets, or AXS machines island-wide until 4pm on match day. Ticket sales will then resume at 430pm at the Jalan Besar Stadium North Gate, subject to availability. Grandstand tickets will be available at S$15, and gallery and Kick George’s Stand tickets will be available at S$9. Children below the age of seven who require a seat can also buy a concession ticket at S$4.
