SEA Games: Brunei take on Vietnam at Bishan Stadium

SINGAPORE – The 28th SEA Games technically got under way today (May 29) as Brunei took on Vietnam in the first Group B football fixture in the men’s under-23 category at the Bishan Stadium.

SINGAPORE – The 28th SEA Games technically got under way today (May 29) as Brunei took on Vietnam in the first Group B football fixture in the men’s under-23 category at the Bishan Stadium.

Favourites and record 14-time champions Thailand will take on Laos in the second match at the same venue later at 8.30pm.

The Games will officially kick off with the opening ceremony on June 5, but competitions for football along with synchronised swimming, fencing, netball and table tennis, get an early start.

Singapore and Philippines will kick off Group A matches on Monday at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
