Work continues apace on the pitch of the new National Stadium to get it ready for the kick-off of the ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup next month.

Singapore will be defending its title and the Lions will play all their matches at the stadium, starting against Thailand on Nov 23. Malaysia and Myanmar are the other teams in the Group B hosted here, with the Jalan Besar Stadium also in use.

The other group will be played in Vietnam, which is co-hosting the month-long event.
