KM Duathlon helps raise S$6,800 for CARE

SINGAPORE — A total of S$6,800 was raised for the Children-at-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore) via the inaugural KM Duathlon at the Changi Exhibition Centre today (July 20).

SINGAPORE — A total of S$6,800 was raised for the Children-at-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore) via the inaugural KM Duathlon at the Changi Exhibition Centre today (July 20).

Organised by Infinitus Productions, the race consisted of running and cycling legs over the KM60 and KM30 categories.

KM60 saw participants complete a 10km run, followed by a 40km cycle down Changi Coastal Drive, and ending with another 10km run. The KM30 category is half the distance at 5km-20km-5km. Participants could also opt to partner with a buddy for the KM60 Relay.

Among those who took part were Minister of State (Trade and Industry) and Mayor (North-east District) Teo Ser Luck, and local personalities Claire Jedrek, Kelly Latimer and Cheryl Tay.
