Looking back on a career that saw him notching 11 wins on the track, he said: “After 15 years racing in F1, it’s time to change a little bit, and I will race in a different category. I’m confident and happy with my decision and I will enjoy doing different things. I’ve enjoyed racing in F1, racing with incredible teams, getting a lot of incredible results ... for sure some difficult moments but that is part of life and I’m very proud that I passed through (them).” Photo: Ernest Chua
