SEA Games: New 200m record for Shanti Pereira

SINGAPORE — Fresh off her bronze medal win in the 100m at the SEA Games, sprinter Shanti Pereira has set a new national record time in the women's 200m in today's (June 10) heats at the National Stadium.

SINGAPORE — Fresh off her bronze medal win in the 100m at the SEA Games, sprinter Shanti Pereira has set a new national record time in the women's 200m in today's (June 10) heats at the National Stadium.

The 18-year-old clocked a time of 23.82sec to better her previous record of 23.99sec and qualify for the this evening's final.
