KUALA LUMPUR — Quah Zheng Wen has won the men's 200m butterfly final at the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur to erase the disappointment of losing in the 50m backstroke on Monday.

The 20-year-old was without peer in the 200m fly final on Tuesday (Aug 22) as he touched the wall in 1min 57.95sec. He finished ahead of Malaysia's Faang Der Tia'a (2:01.04) and Thailand's Navaphat Wongcharoen (2:01.06)

Quah will hope that his win lead on to more gold at the end of the evening when he joins forces with Joseph Schooling, Danny Yeo and Darren Lim in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay.
