S’pore men’s doubles pair bow out of OUE S’pore Open in close fight

SINGAPORE – It was heartbreak for the Singapore men’s doubles pair of Danny Bawa Chrisnanta and Chayut Triyachart who were eliminated from the first round of the OUE Singapore Open badminton championships today (April 8) after losing to South Korea’s Kim Gi Jung and Kim Sa Rang.

SINGAPORE – It was heartbreak for the Singapore men’s doubles pair of Danny Bawa Chrisnanta and Chayut Triyachart who were eliminated from the first round of the OUE Singapore Open badminton championships today (April 8) after losing to South Korea’s Kim Gi Jung and Kim Sa Rang.

Chrisnanta and Triyachart, ranked 21st in the world in the event, lost 21-19, 21-19 to the world no 14 pair.

Chrisnanta will pair up with compatriot Vanessa Neo in round two of the mixed doubles at 2pm tomorrow (April 9), after their win over Taiwan’s Chan Hsiao Huan and Liao Min Chun yesterday.
