INCHEON — Singapore’s sailors have secured two gold medals at the Asian Games in Incheon today (Sept 30), after Jodie Lai won the Optimist class, while Kimberly Lim and Savannah Siew clinched the women’s 420 class.

The two golds were among five medals confirmed by the sailors today to bring Singapore’s overall gold medal tally at the Games to four, adding to the wins by swimmer Joseph Schooling (men’s 100m butterfly) and the women’s team of five in bowling earlier today.

Apart from the two golds, sisters Cecilia and Priscilla Low are assured of the silver in the women’s 29er, although that result is still unofficial.

Two bronze medals have also been won by Singapore’s sailors, with Colin Cheng in the Laser, and the duo of Loh Jia Yi and Jonathan Yeo in the men’s 420.
