Swimmers get SEA Games pre-paid cards
SINGAPORE — Despite their busy schedules, Singapore national swimmers Christie Chue and Joseph Schooling still found time to drop by the South-east Asian (SEA) Games merchandise pop-up store at OCBC Centre at Chulia Street today (May 27), where they were presented with commemorative SEA Games UnionPay pre-paid cards.
SINGAPORE — Despite their busy schedules, Singapore national swimmers Christie Chue and Joseph Schooling still found time to drop by the South-east Asian (SEA) Games merchandise pop-up store at OCBC Centre at Chulia Street today (May 27), where they were presented with commemorative SEA Games UnionPay pre-paid cards.
The athletes also bought SEA Games merchandise such as pins, T-shirts and plush toys at the pop-up store.
Christie, 14, will be competing in the women’s 200m and 400m freestyle and 200m breaststroke at the SEA Games, whilst 2014 Asian Games champion Schooling is competing in nine events, including the men’s 100m and 200m butterfly.
The SEA Games will be held from June 5 to 16, featuring 402 events across 36 sports and more than 10,000 athletes and officials from 11 South-east Asian countries. Hosts Singapore will be represented by 749 athletes.
