SINGAPORE — Petra Kvitova ended her five-match losing streak against world No 2 Maria Sharapova, beating the Russian 6-3, 6-2 in one hour and fifteen minutes in a White Group round robin match at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals today (Oct 23).

This is the second straight loss for the Russian who started the week eyeing the year-end top spot in world rankings.
