The third instalment of the WTA Finals in Singapore this year will feature fresh new initiatives, such as an updated match schedule and a Family Day to enhance the fan experience.

For the first time, singles-only sessions will feature during the first four days — from Oct 23-26 — of the eight-day tournament, allowing fans to catch all eight players on court when they attend the first or second pair of match sessions.

The doubles competition, which will commence on Oct 27, will adopt an eight-team knock-out format offering fans a mix of singles and doubles matches in all subsequent sessions leading to the finals.

A Family Day will kick-off the season-ending tournament on Oct 23, featuring live entertainment acts, and fan participation activities both on and off the court.

Tickets for the WTA Finals will roll out in two phases. Phase one will begin May 6, offering several different bundles, such as the Family Day Package, All Singles Evening Pass, and the Full Day Pass on top of the popular season passes and Racquet Club passes. Phase two will begin in July.

Families with children under the age of 16 will get 50 per cent savings when they purchase the Family Day Package.
