SINGAPORE — Tickets for this year’ BNP Paribas Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Finals in Singapore (Oct 23–Nov 1), will go on sale on April 23, with season passes and bundled tickets to be offered for the first time here.

Following the record high attendance of more than 93,000 attending the matches last year in Singapore at the Singapore Sports Hub’s Indoor Stadium, organisers World Sport Group (WSG) announced today (April 8) spectators can get round robin session passes and season passes for all 13 sessions at 10 per cent savings per ticket for this year’s tournament, which is presented by SC Global.

Group bookings for 20 or more tickets, and for families of four will be able to enjoy savings as well.

Ticket prices will start from S$16.90, with the most expensive priced at S$225.90 for a premium seat on the day of the finals.

This year’s tournament in Singapore will be an expanded 10-day sport entertainment spectacle, with the singles and doubles competition extended from seven to eight days.

Fans can also watch up to four matches per session this year, with the introduction of two “supersized” sessions for them.

Similar to last year, there will be free admission to the Fan Zone and selected player practice sessions. The WTA Legends Classic, WTA Rising Stars Invitational and WTA Future Stars competition will also continue this year.

Meanwhile, WSG announced that tickets for The Racquet Club, the premium hospitality programme for the WTA Finals this year, has concluded its early bird ticket phase on Feb 28. Only 700 tickets are available for each of the 13 match sessions, and more than half of the tickets have been snapped up. Single session Racquet Club passes are now available from S$595 per person, before goods and services tax.

WSG Director of Operations, Sarah Clements, said that the enhanced ticket and programme offerings this year is part of the event’s aim to ensure “there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.”

She said: ”We are delighted to introduce new ticketing packages and enhanced programme offering which I hope will thrill fans – in fact some of the new highlights were suggested by the fans!

“As we saw from the phenomenal response and turnout last year, the WTA Finals now occupies pride and place in Singapore and is now regarded as a must attend event on the global sporting calendar. Ticket prices remain accessible but now come with a broader range of options that offer greater flexibility.” said Ms Clements.
