SINGAPORE – Caroline Wozniacki picked up her second victory in the White Group, edging out world No 6 Agnieszka Radwanska 7-5, 6-3 in one hour and 46 minutes at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals today (Oct 23).

Wozniacki’s victory puts her in the driving seat for a spot in the semi-finals while Radwanska faces Sharapova in her final Group encounter.

“It was a really tough fight today; I was expecting another three hour match today so an hour and forty-five is good. I’m ready for everything,” said Wozniacki, a former world No 1.

She will face Wimbledon Champion Petra Kvitova in her final group stage match tomorrow.
