The South Korean electronics giant unveiled the two new smartphones yesterday, along with the launch dates for its mobile payment service in South Korea and the United States.
The Galaxy Note 5 4G+ smartphone will be available in Singapore from tomorrow. The 32GB edition will sell at S$1,088, while the 64GB version will be retailing at S$1,188. The device is part of Samsung’s Galaxy Note “phablet” series.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ 4G+ will go on sale in Singapore from Aug 22. The 32GB edition will cost S$1,188, while the 64GB edition will be selling at S$1,288.
Both phones feature a 5.7-inch display, but the S6 has smaller overall dimensions and a curved “dual edge” screen, which sets aside a part of the display for other content. They will also be available in two colours: Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum.
The products and their accessories such as wireless chargers will be available at authorised retailers and Samsung Experience stores in Singapore. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
