Xiaomi’s Redmi Note to go on sale July 8

SINGAPORE — Xiaomi’s Redmi Note will go on sale July 8 at the price of S$199, the Chinese smartphone maker announced today (June 25) on its Facebook page.

SINGAPORE — Xiaomi’s Redmi Note will go on sale July 8 at the price of S$199, the Chinese smartphone maker announced today (June 25) on its Facebook page.

The Redmi Note will come with an 8-Core MTK 6592 1.7GHz processor and a 5.5” 720P IPS display. It’s powered by a 3,200 mAh battery for a touted 14 hours of use with 3G Internet.

It also has a 13MP rear-facing camera, together with a 5MP front-facing camera. Like the previously-released Redmi, the Redmi Note will have dual SIM capabilities.

In comparison, Xiaomi’s flagship Mi3 retails at S$299 and the Xiaomi Redmi at S$169.
