Xbox One pre-order starts on Friday

Two bundles will be available. The first, the Xbox One Launch Console Bundle, will include the Xbox One console — which features a 500GB hard drive, Blu-ray player and built-in Wi-Fi — one Xbox One Wireless Controller, a chat headset, a HDMI cable, a free 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members and a digital copy of EA Sports FIFA 15. It is priced at S$639.
The second limited edition pre-order bundle, the Xbox One Launch Kinect Bundle, will include the Xbox One console with the new Kinect, one Xbox One Wireless Controller, a chat headset, a HDMI cable, a free 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members, and a digital copy of EA Sports FIFA 15 and Dance Central Spotlight. It is priced at S$739.
Some of the major electronics outlets include Challenger and Harvey Norman, a spokesperson for Microsoft told Channel NewsAsia.
Separately, consumers can also pre-order an Xbox One Essentials Kit which will include one Xbox One Wireless Controller, Titanfall and a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership, for S$169 (usual price S$224.70).
Fourteen Xbox exclusive games will be available at launch, with with more games to be launched towards the end of the year, including Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2.
Pre-order bundles can be collected from 1pm on Sept 23, at Funan DigitaLife Mall Atrium. Microsoft also said its online store will start taking pre-orders on Aug 20.
