AWARE joins global movement with V-Day flash mob, Feb 14, 2013
On 14 Feb, 2013, Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) staged a flash mob at Raffles Place Green to rise in solidarity with the worldwide One Billion Rising movement which is a global strike to end violence against women and girls. Volunteers and AWARE organizers alike froze for one minute at Raffles Place Green to demonstrate their support for victims of sexual harassment.
