Adam Lambert furore: No objections heard over Elton

I, too, see no problem with Mr Adam Lambert’s participation in the coming countdown show, so long as he abides by our public performance rules (“Adam Lambert’s sexual identity should not be an issue in show”; Dec 5).

I, too, see no problem with Mr Adam Lambert’s participation in the coming countdown show, so long as he abides by our public performance rules (“Adam Lambert’s sexual identity should not be an issue in show”; Dec 5).

We heard no objections to tennis star Martina Navratilova’s involvement in the recent Women’s Tennis Association Finals here, nor to singer Elton John’s performance last week.

Both are in same-sex marriages.

We should allow ourselves to learn what is right and what is not.
