Continue to exercise zero tolerance against radical ideology

Alarmingly, self-radicalisation has affected not only individuals but families too, like a global epidemic in which the perpetrators sow misguided beliefs and that seems beyond remedy.

Although our security agencies are doing their utmost to detect and prevent any terrorist attack and are taking action against self-radicalised suspects, community resilience can be strengthened further.

Singaporeans should have zero tolerance against radical ideology, condemn any association with it and report such individuals to the authorities if they really love them and Singapore.

Let us continue to promote patience and love as we appreciate our peaceful society. Although it is impossible to end self-radicalisation, together we can do our part to prevent it, as we are one nation and one Singapore.
