Curb anti-social conduct for a better Singapore
I refer to the letter “Time to bring back national campaigns?” (Sept 12). Indeed, we see many undesirable social behaviours even though Singapore is economically developed.
I refer to the letter “Time to bring back national campaigns?” (Sept 12). Indeed, we see many undesirable social behaviours even though Singapore is economically developed.
To make our country a better place for all, I hope we can eradicate, or at least minimise, these behaviours:
Talking in the cinema when the film has started; talking loudly on the phone in the train; squatting on the toilet seat in public toilets; spitting in public; switching lanes or turning without signalling when driving; leaving behind used cutlery and tissues after a meal at eateries; and using a toilet for the disabled when one has no disability.
There could be other ungracious social behaviours, but if we can address the above successfully, Singapore would be a better place to live.
