Different feedback platforms available for municipal issues
We thank Mr David Kwok for his letter, “Don’t forget those who can’t use MSO app” (Dec 18), on the municipal services mobile app, which will be launched early next year.
We thank Mr David Kwok for his letter, “Don’t forget those who can’t use MSO app” (Dec 18), on the municipal services mobile app, which will be launched early next year.
The app aims to serve as an additional, convenient platform for the public to provide feedback on municipal issues.
These include services provided by participating agencies: The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority, the Housing and Development Board, the Land Transport Authority, the National Parks Board, the National Environment Agency, the Singapore Police Force, national water agency PUB and the People’s Association.
The app aims to be easy to use and will organise feedback categories by the nature of issues, for example, pests, trees/greenery, footpaths. Functions such as photo attachment and geotagging will enable more accurate reporting of feedback. It will route feedback to the relevant agency, which can then provide timelier service and response to residents.
Members of the public who are not familiar with mobile phone apps can continue to send their feedback through email, telephone or post to the relevant agencies.
If they are unsure which agency to approach, they can email the Municipal Services Office at mso_enquiry [at] mnd.gov.sg, call our enquiry number at 6325 7811 or write to us at 5 Maxwell Road, #14-00, Tower Block MND Complex, Singapore 069110.
