Encourage cycling by installing bike racks on buses

The trial that lets cyclists and users of personal mobility devices carry their foldable bicycles and devices on public transport is a good step towards a car-lite society (“Bike-sharing pilot to start next year in Jurong East”; July 21).

Another suggestion would be to install bike racks on buses. This would also encourage more commuters to use a combination of bus and bicycle to get to their destination conveniently. Richmond Lee
