Extend cycle track to Upper Seletar Reservoir Park

The park connector network has added opportunities for families to exercise and enjoy nature.

I have been using the Mandai Park connector and am a bit disappointed that it stops short of Upper Seletar Reservoir Park. One must brave about 2km along the narrow Mandai Road, which makes it unsafe for children.

The park is a historic one, as Upper Seletar Reservoir was our third reservoir and was expanded in the 1960s. It should be in the park connector network so that more families visit it. Would the authorities consider extending a cycle track from Mandai Avenue along Mandai Road to the park?
