Keep fight over Oxley Rd house private

Singaporeans need not hear about the children of the late founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew fighting over his property, and see it being splashed across newspapers all over the world. Such matters should be conducted discreetly and privately.

Heritage or not, whatever the outcome, I do think the late Mr Lee deserves to rest in peace.

If the house cannot be demolished and is to be developed as a heritage building, then the proceeds can go to the needy. May the media focus on issues that affect the public and the world, and not on one family.
