MOE’s prompt action brings relief to a father
After my family joined me in Singapore last year, I tried unsuccessfully on my own to place my son in a primary school. The registration exercise had closed already, and I was bit worried.
After my family joined me in Singapore last year, I tried unsuccessfully on my own to place my son in a primary school. The registration exercise had closed already, and I was bit worried.
Upon a Singaporean friend’s suggestion, I went to the Ministry of Education (MOE), which said it would look for a school close to my home.
A few weeks later, I received a telephone call about a vacancy at school located only one MRT station away from my home. I thank the MOE for its efficiency, dedication and prompt action, which brought me relief.
Now, my son is going to school cheerfully and learning the high standard of education here.
