Next step is to improve performance of start-ups
I am heartened that although we are a little red dot on the map, Singapore is ranked number one in the world in start-up talent (S’pore beats Silicon Valley for start-up talent: Survey; March 22).

It is commendable that we have a strong talent pool. Knowing that the efforts put into developing the start-up field are paying off should motivate us.
While this survey result is something to be proud of, we should continue to look for areas for improvement. For instance, the performance of the start-ups should be on a par with the standard of our talent.
Efforts to improve the performance of these start-ups that our talents have worked hard for must continue. Maximising the talents we have to their full potential would beget greater success for Singapore in this regard.
