We thank Mr Felix Kim for his letter “Unused value of ez-link cards should be returned” (Sept 11, online).

EZ-Link has always encouraged cardholders to register their ez-link cards to monitor and be reminded about the cards’ expiry dates via our services My EZ-Link Mobile (Android app) and ‘Activate!’ (https://customer.ezlink.com.sg/CustomerPortal/SignIn).

Cardholders are also encouraged to replace their cards or request a refund as soon as they expire.

They may visit any TransitLink ticket office to exchange their expired ez-link card for a specially designed card at a subsidised cost of S$3, which can be deducted from the expired card, with the remaining stored value transferred to the new card.

Should cardholders prefer a refund of the remaining value, they can reach out to our customer service for the refund to be processed.
